Yakov Berenshteyn, Analyst

Yakov comes to GreenOrder with a background in mechanical and materials engineering and energy technologies.

Prior to joining GreenOrder, Yakov interned at the East Bay Regional Park District in Northern California, where he helped park rangers pursue recycling and water conservation initiatives, and at Lux Research, where he tracked smart grid and energy storage installations as well as venture capital financing for nanotechnology. He also conducted research in biomechanics at UCLA and biomimetic engineering at Harvard University.

Yakov graduated cum laude from Harvard College with a B.S. in Engineering Sciences on a Mechanical/Materials track. He also completed coursework in earth sciences as well as in environmental science and public policy.
