Janelle Heslop, Associate

Janelle comes to GreenOrder with a background in environmental engineering,  environmental and climate change policy, and sustainable development.

Prior to joining Greenorder, Janelle was a part of environmental engineering research groups at Columbia, Princeton, and Duke Universities, where she conducted research in alternative energies, environmental sensing systems, and water quality, respectively. She additionally brings experience in environmental/climate change law through her time spent interning with legal teams at both the Riverkeeper, Inc. and Center for Climate Change Law at Columbia Law School. Janelle was also a leader and travel team member of Columbia University's Engineers Without Borders Uganda program and spent two years as an intern for the Earth Institute's Millennium Villages in Rwanda Access Project, both through which she gained experience in international and sustainable development.

Janelle graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University with a B.S. in Earth and Environmental Engineering and a concentration in Sustainable Energy and Materials.
