Daniel Saccardi, Senior Associate

Daniel has applied his deep knowledge of renewable energy and sustainability to a range of organizations and issues ranging from greening internal operations to national-level policy and research to international conservation.

Daniel began his environmental career working on renewable energy policy at the Natural Resources Defense Council, where he helped lead a groundbreaking collaboration with universities and government agencies on biofuels research. Prior to joining GreenOrder, Daniel worked for the Wildlife Conservation Society. At WCS, he wrote an organization-wide sustainability plan, calculated its carbon footprint, and led conservation finance projects that took him to Rwanda, where he advised government agencies on management best practices.

Daniel graduated cum laude from Connecticut College where he received a BA in Environmental Studies. He also holds an MBA and MPA from New York University.
